Amsterdam, Netherlands – A tourist group in the Dutch city of Amsterdam has called on the government to investigate how it handled complaints of the “unacceptable” and “unjustified” treatment of its members.
In a statement published by the Amsterdam Tourism Group, the organization’s director, Yvonne Lippe, said she had been contacted by “many” people, including the city’s health department, and that she had also been summoned to a meeting with the city council’s health and safety committee on Friday.
The city council on Monday voted to launch an investigation into the treatment of some 1,200 staff at the city government’s health care department.
Lippes said she did not believe that the health department was doing enough to prevent the “extremely unsafe” conditions experienced by her staff.
“The health care committee met to hear from the people concerned about the health and safe care environment,” Lipped said in the statement.
“Unfortunately, the health care staff members complained about the unsafe conditions and that they have been treated unfairly and unfairly, which is clearly unacceptable.
We do not believe the health services are in a position to deal with the complaints.”
The health care minister told the Amsterdam Times that the city was “working on a new approach” to the situation.
The health minister also said that the government would make a public statement about the allegations.
The government’s response has been largely met with skepticism by the public, with some saying the situation was “ridiculous” and that it should be closed down.
Littes also said she has asked the health ministry to review its procedures to ensure staff are being treated in a safe and humane way.
The group says it has contacted the European Commission, the Dutch parliament and the Dutch government on its case.
The Netherlands has about 20,000 residents who are employed by health care organizations.
Amsterdam is home to a number of hospitals and clinics, as well as a large number of health facilities, including hospitals and primary care.
Lettes, who said she was not a doctor herself, has worked at the City Hall of Amsterdam for about 20 years.
“I have been the city director of the health service for almost 25 years,” she said in her statement.
